The Catalina 42 was one of Catalina's most popular models, with over 1000 hulls sold. The hull design is Nelson/Marek, and she has a wonderful feel under sail. Catalina's in-house design team, led by chief designer Gerry Douglas, designed the Catalina 42. Introduced with the 1989 model year, the 42 was the first American-built sailboat of this size to offer a three-stateroom layout. The Mk I version was built until February 1995, ending with hull # 477.
Between Dreams is an amazing value at only $110,000 with all of the recent maintenance and upgrades. She is ready to take you off the grid with her upgraded solar panels, lithium batteries, water maker, and tender. The C42 is moored in the New Orleans Municipal Yacht Harbor at 401 North Roadway Street, New Orleans, LA 70124, which is a short drive from the New Orleans International Airport (MSY).
