One of Catalina's most popular models, "Evolution's" spacious interior and 6'9 headroom are incredible for a boat her size. She's in great shape and will make the perfect family cruiser, while also pleasing the discerning sailor who values both performance and comfort.
Description
"Evolution", a 2003 SHOAL DRAFT (4'6") Catalina 350, is the perfect cruising yacht for the Bahamas and beyond. She is a two-owner boat- the seller has owned her since 2007. Since then, she has been gently used, with an interior that looks as good as new, and a solid well maintained exterior.
Her cockpit is incredibly spacious, with a foldout table for happy hour at anchor or dining while underway. The Bimini, connector, and dodger are in great condition with the dodger being only around two years old. Her large sugar scoop style swim platform is perfect for easy boarding via tender as well as for swimming at anchor.
"Evolution" is a performance cruiser, but you would never know that if you only saw her interior! With a stunning 6'9" headroom and a centerline queen berth forward there is plenty of comfortable living space. The storage options throughout "Evolution" are well thought out, with every ounce of space utilized to ensure easy provisioning for longer trips, all while not compromising living space.
WALKTHROUGH
Coming down the companionway, the galley is to Starboard with a newer stove, a 12-volt microwave, double stainless sinks, a fridge/freezer combo, and plenty of storage/counter space. To port is the navigation center, with a chart table and easy access to the main breaker panel. Aft of the nav station is the aft cabin, with a full-sized berth, standing room, and ample storage.
Moving to the main cabin/salon area there are two settees on either side of the cabin. The dining table is to port. In the photos here, the small table is shown, and the larger one is stored onboard. The starboard settee can be divided into two seats, with a table that folds out in the middle. There is a head just forward to port with incredible space and a luxurious separate shower- something rarely seen on a 35 ft sailboat!
"Evolution's" inviting master stateroom is forward, with a centerline queen berth that can be accessed on three sides and a large overhead hatch to let in the sea breeze.
