*The boat has working Air conditioning. However, the raw water was disconnected from the water intake to install a foot pump. Needs a Y-connection to the saltwater intake; it should work fine again. It's a Webasto and still turns on and starts to cool, but it needs the water to continue.
*It might be worth noting that the side window gaskets need to be replaced. Obviously, not a big deal, but they are leaking because the gaskets are too old and shrivel up.
*Also the RPM gauge isn't calibrated

Pros
Spacious Interior: The Catalina 34 offers a roomy cabin with a well-thought-out layout, including a comfortable V-berth, a sizable salon, and a functional galley, making it ideal for extended cruising.
Solid Construction: Built with a robust fiberglass hull and deck, the boat is known for durability and seaworthiness.
Good Sailing Performance: With a moderate sail plan and a well-balanced hull design, the Catalina 34 performs reliably in a variety of wind conditions, appealing to both novice and experienced sailors.
Easy Handling: The boat’s manageable size and responsive rigging make it relatively easy to single-hand or crew with a small team.
Ample Storage: Numerous lockers and compartments provide generous storage space for gear and provisions.
Affordability: Compared to many other cruisers of similar size and quality, the Catalina 34 tends to be more affordable on the used boat market.
Cons
Aging Design: Being a 1988 model, some aspects of the design and equipment may feel dated compared to newer boats, potentially requiring upgrades.
Limited Headroom: While the interior is spacious, some taller sailors may find the cabin headroom a bit restrictive.
Performance Limits: Although it sails well for a cruiser, it is not designed for high-performance racing and may lag behind more modern or racing-oriented designs.
Maintenance Needs: Older boats like the Catalina 34 often require ongoing maintenance and occasional upgrades to systems such as plumbing, electrical, and rigging.
Keel Depth: The standard keel may limit access to shallow cruising grounds, though shoal draft versions are available but with some compromise on performance.
