Extremely Unique Situation * This Well Built, Fully Equipped Carolina Classic 35 Has Not Been Out of Its Slip in Nearly Ten Years! * That's right....The seller's health has been an ongoing issue preventing his use of the boat. She is believed to only have 335 Hours of use and very little wear/tear. Twin 540/hp Cummins QSC6.3TAs * The hull looks great, the interior is almost like new, the heat/air conditioning works great and the boat overall shows very well. She is currently docked in her well-protected, fixed concrete slip in the highly regarded Windmill Harbour Yacht Basin on Hilton Head Island, SC. This is a gated community that is also home to the South Carolina Yacht Club. Windmill Harbour Marina is a locked harbor, meaning that it is only accessible through a 20' X 80' lock. This allows for a consistent water level with little-to-no tidal fluctuation and bath-tub calm, protected water. Fresh ground water was struck when the basin was dug and therefore the water within Windmill Harbour is brackish. The seller owned the slip up and until just recently.
The seller is obviously motivated by several factors....
After sitting this long we have to sell this sport fishing battleship as a project boat. There is missing instrumentation at the lower helm, the generator is out of commission and we really don't have much information about how sitting unused may have affected her overall mechanical condition. We do know when she was last docked she was in perfect running condition. Afterward, the engines were routinely started and the boat continually washed/waxed professionally and the bottom diver-maintained. However, the engines have now sat untouched over the last couple of years. We know the fuel will be old and in need of flushing/tank cleaning. The engines will at least need to be fully serviced and re-commissioned. The seller has aggressively priced the boat to sell in "AS-IS" condition. The low price is intended to fully compensate the buyer for the risk involved with potentially unforeseen issues in a deal like this.
This offering could be an absolute steal to the right buyer. Offers Encouraged!...
