Construction is solid fiberglass, and her wide 10'6" beam results in a very roomy Cockpit. True to the Carolina Classic fishing roots, this 28' has a complete air conditioned Cabin below with a big V-berth, Galley and rod / tackle locker. The engines are very accessible. The boat was repowered with 2019 T/Volvo Penta Diesel D4 300 HP and installed in 2020. The entire Bridge Deck can be raised on a hydraulic ram at the push of a button. The Cockpit has plenty of room for a mounted rocket launcher, a pair of in-deck fish boxes and tackle center. Additional features include side-dumping exhausts, wide side decks, high gunwales and a well arranged Helm with newer Furuno electronics.
This specific 28' Carolina Classic has had a number of upgrades throughout her lifetime including 2019 Volvo D3 engines installed in 2020, new running gear, 2019 Furuno electronics and new upholstery.
