The 2014 Carolina Skiff 258 DLV is a boat built for versatility, stability, and serious fishing, and this one comes fully equipped and ready to hit the water. It's powered by a reliable Suzuki 150 outboard with around 520 hours. Routine maintenance has already been handled--last year the lower unit received new bearings and seals, and more recently the tilt and trim were rebuilt and the water pump impeller was replaced. The transom is fitted with a jack plate, with helm controls, for improved shallow water access and performance tuning on the fly.
This skiff includes a trolling motor with Spot Lock and remote operation, ideal for those long days chasing fish without drifting off target. Two dedicated batteries for the motor and two more for the trolling motor are onboard, all kept in check by a built-in charger. Electronics include a Lowrance HD9 depth and fish finder loaded with over 200 waypoints mapped out across the Pamlico Sound--perfect for getting right on top of the fish from day one.
There's a Power Pole installed as well. It worked when the current owner bought the boat, but hasn't been used since, so it may need to be checked if that feature is important to you. For comfort and convenience, the boat includes a Fusion audio system with two speakers, so you can enjoy your playlist between casts.
Extras include everything you'll need to get going without a trip to the store: multiple life jackets, anchors for both bow and stern, and fenders.
