PUFF is an extremely well maintained and lightly used 2004 Cape Cod Shipbuilding built, Nat Herreshoff designed, Bull's Eye. The Bull's Eye model is fashioned after the H-1/2 Fisher's Island Improved model, with fiberglass hull, taller mast that is stepped thru the foredeck, raised afterdeck, and seat flotation.
PUFF has a flawless Flag Blue Awlgriped hull, white Awlgriped decks/sole, and fresh green Pettit hydrocoat bottom paint. The teak trim is professionally varnished--rails, seats, coaming, crutch, club, tiller, trim, paddle. It comes ready to go------the running rigging is double braid, the aluminum spars are as new, the main sheet has a Harken swivel fair lead/cam, and the jib sheets both have a cabin top winch. The sails are good, but not new. It has a tiller hiking stick, boat hook, Ritchie compass on the sole, unused Danforth anchor with chain/rope rode, 2 throw cushions, 1 dock line, two blue fenders, blue mooring cover, and blue jib cover.
PUFF comes with a 3hp Torqeedo Ultralight outboard with side mount remote controls in the cockpit and mounting chocks in the cuddy to stow it when sailing. The battery is under the aft deck. The whole motor weighs 21 lbs. The boat also comes with a bz removeable transom outboard bracket for a larger motor if desired.
PUFF comes with a custom Triad galv trailer for travel and launching.
This Bull's Eye is a real "puff piece", lightly used and only on the best of days. It needs nothing and can be towed away. It is covered inside a storage building and easy to see. Come take a look if you are in the market for a nice day sailor with a Herreshoff pedigree.
