Summary
Welcome aboard the 2009 52 Cabo Convertible "Trashy Thoughts". She is quite simply the most rare, most desirable and finest Cabo ever constructed. The Michael Peters hull design of the 52 is widely renown as one of the best riding 52’ production hulls ever built.
VESSEL WALKTHROUGH

Standing in the massive cockpit of the 2009 52 Cabo Trashy Thoughts you really feel the 17’9” beam. Her cockpit is rigged to battle the largest pelagics the ocean has to offer. She has twin large macerated fish boxes and a huge transom livewell. Her Pompanette rocket launcher was recently refinished and serves as the centerpiece of the cockpit. Tackle storage, electric reel outlets, eskimo ice chipper, Furuno display…..TT has everything you need and is tournament tested!

She does have a softer side, and her beauty certainly matches her braun. All her teak was custom done brand new last year. The mezzanine seating is factory with brand new double stitched custom exterior cushions. She has a custom sunshade so when dockside, or at anchor her creature comforts can also be enjoyed. There is a flybridge ladder to starboard as well as an auto door that opens to the salon.

Her interior is simple but elegant. All interior wood is the original solid satin finished teak which nicely preserves her CABO DNA. No thin veneers or milky wood here….just quality. The same can be said for her teak and holly original flooring, which was a factory option.

All other furnishings, lighting and décor items were all redone custom in an extensive interior refit. White designer stone countertops, white ultra leather sofa and dinette seating help to give TT a more modern feel than her original décor. The main salon, forward galley and starboard dinette all tie in together and share the benefits. Custom refit items include…

Salon:

• New valances

• New carpet

• New upholstery

• New soft goods

• New custom covers for coffee table and dinette

• New AC evaporators and condensing units

• New overhead LED lighting

• Custom reel storage under port bench seat

• Tackle storage under rear bench seat

• New electric salon door

• New heat-resistant tint on all windows

Galley:

• New countertops

• New 4-burner cooktop

• New LED lighting

• New stainless backsplash

• New carpet

• New faucet

• New sink

The layout down below on the 2009 52 Cabo Trashy Thoughts is best in class. Her wide beam translates to interior volume throughout allowing for a 3 stateroom, 2 head arrangement that is quite unique.

Her master stateroom is to port and features a large island king berth complete with en suite head.

Her starboard guest stateroom is special because unlike most vessels her size, this is not a tiny bunkbed room. In fact, her large double bed runs athwartships and is suitable for a couple. Her original design had an additional raised berth above the outboard storage cabinets. This berth was redesigned custom as a huge tackle storage locker. There is so much storage aboard TT that if desired, the additional sleeping berth is easily converted back. Also housed in this room are the washer and dryer neatly concealed in teak cabinets against the forward bulkhead. This room also lends itself well as a crew stateroom if needed.

Out in the lower companionway, Trashy Thoughts boasts an absolutely spectacular custom rod and reel storage locker. Gear is on display like artwork and lit with multi-color LED accent lighting.

Continuing forward, the VIP stateroom features an island queen berth where most vessels her size have split bunks not conducive to accommodating another couple. The guest head on TT is accessible privately through the VIP or as a “day head” from the companionway.

In keeping with the upper deck décor and ship systems, the lower accommodations were all upgraded and refit as well. Below please find a summary…
