The design team at CABO listened carefully to the needs of its sportfishing owners. Consequently, the cockpit is the biggest in her class, providing as much space as many larger battlewagons. Placement of the essentials – bait freezers, live wells, tackle drawers, and cabinets for gaffs and bait nets is strategically planned. Huge fish boxes are molded into the cockpit sole and equipped with in-line macerators, full-length piano hinges, gas struts, and rubber gaskets. Lures and tools are easily organized at the rigging station, which includes a sink, cutting board, and bait chest.
