The Boston Whaler 17 Montauk features a squared-off bow for a big, roomy cockpit; twin sponson hulls that are solid, stable and dry-riding; and an efficient, quick-planing design that delivers exciting performance with a smaller engine. Unibond construction - which includes a transferable, ten-year limited warranty - makes this boat virtually unsinkable. Her 360-degree walk-around design makes it easier to fight the big ones. There's a grab rail within reach from anywhere in the boat, and a molded-in nonskid surface that provides a solid foothold. The reversible pilot seat is big enough to fit two comfortably, and the back flips forward so it can be used as an aft-facing seat while not underway. Everything on the 17 Montauk is gelcoated fiberglass, stainless steel or marine-grade vinyl, making cleanup quick and easy.
