Boston Whaler's engineers applied customer and dealer feedback in designing the 285 Conquest, crafting a versatile luxury vessel that can only be described as a masterpiece. The 285, rebuilt from the hull up, improves on its predecessor's helm design with unobstructed captain's visibility from the enclosed windshield. The port lounge seating is raised for better forward visibility, with an innovative "flip and slide" backrest with filler cushion that allows for forward or aft-facing configurations. Other comfort features include an optional cockpit sunshade and cockpit table. Hardcore anglers will appreciate state-of-the-art Raymarine electronics options, a 30-gallon livewell, and a decked-out starboard prep station. With improved performance and handling along with refined styling updates, nothing looks or feels better gliding across the water.
This boat has been well maintained by a marina in North Kingston. There is normal wear and tear, but the owner has maintained the boat with an open checkbook to ensure that everything is in working order. The cushions alone cost nearly $5,000 to replace. The boat is currently in heated indoor storage in North Kingston near the automobile shipping port at Quonset. Maintenance records can be reviewed and the maintenance supervisor and I will be fully transparent regarding the condition of the boat and motors. The motors have about 600 hours. The generator has less than 50 hours. I am selling my 285 Conquest to buy a 315 Conquest. I love Boston Whaler boats. The blurry photo of the helm was taken through the Eisenglass curtain. The price includes storage, mechanical prep, spring launch and a guarantee that everything is in working order at the time of sale. No other guarantees or warranties are provided. Owner has Boston Whaler's original set of instruction manuals for the boat's systems. Sea Rose has Coast Guard documentation. You can keep the USCG documentation or title the boat in your state.
