HULL and DECK

The house and deck are white. The work deck is gray. The vessel has a starboard side hauling/steering station and a fully enclosed (split) wheel house to port. The cuddy cabin has a portside entry door, tabbed sole, and a V-berth. The hull is fitted with PVC rub rails, PVC running rails, and a tuna door in the transom.  

Construction Details 

Hull: Molded, laminated fiberglass with a flared bow, round bilges, and a 

full keel. The hull is stiffened with four longitudinal stringers one major 

bulkhead, partitions under the work deck, and tabbed components in the 

cuddy 

Deck and House: Molded fiberglass top deck with Balsa coringThe deck is 

joined to the hull with a shoe-box flange, stainless bolt and a chemical 

sealant. The side decks are supported with knees. The wheelhouse has 

Wynne windows and two sliding doors of King Starboard. There is a WYNNE

tip-out window at outside helmThe cuddy cabin has BOMAR deck hatch 

and (2) plastic BECKSON portholes. 

Work Deck: Fiberglass skin over plywood and 2”x 4” pressure treated 

beams. The beams are posted to the stringers and bolted to a fiberglass hull 

flange. The surface is painted with non-skid and is pitched to the tuna door 

and three additional scuppers. There are (4) ANCHOR MARINE  aluminum

deck hatches with stainless frames and (2) bronze 6” deck plates. One below deck fish hold. There are four large scuppers built under the wash rails.

PROPULSION

CATERPILLAR C-9 500 horsepower 2400rpm diesel engine with 1938 hours connected to a TWIN DISC MG-507 with a 2:1 ratio.

TOWER / PULPIT

 Welded polished aluminum tuna TOWER (standing 27') is fabricated with 2 ½” tubing 

for the main legs to the wheelhouse top and wash rails. There are multiple 2” 

braces in all directions plus welded ladder rungs. There are two steering 

stations enclosed with welded safety rails.  

 Welded, painted aluminum pulpit with 4” tube, 2 ½” main brace to the 

stem. There is 1” webbing between the two. 


The 25' long PULPIT base is bolted and 

backed through the foredeck. There are stainless 7/19 guy wires and life line 

to stainless chain plates. The top of the tube has welded channel creating a 

foot platform which is painted with non-skid. The custom tower and pulpit were 

built by Blue Water Fabrication of West Rockport, ME. 

ELECTRICAL

DC systems include running lights, deck lights, flood lights and three 

window wipers


12vdc system with (2) 2024 8D batteries 

PERKO Battery switching and panel

12vdc cable winch with T-Class fuse 

Poly Planer MR45s

(2) Rule 1100 bilge pumps with automatic and manual operation

New 2025 Vevor 4500 lb electric winch mounted on wheelhouse
