TROUBLEMAKER is a fine example of the legendary Bertram 60 Sportfish-combining speed, comfort, and serious offshore capability. She has only had two owners since new. Originally owned by The Stienbrenner Family, who repowered her with MTU 12V-2000's. Her second owner continued the open check book maintenance policy.
Her fast planing hull, deep-V bottom, wide beam, and pronounced bow flare provide a smooth, dry ride and exceptional sea-handling in a variety of conditions but she comes into her best when it gets rough.
The self-draining cockpit is designed for tournament fishing, featuring a fighting chair, baitwell, fish boxes, transom door, and low gunwales for ease of handling big game. Flybridge and tower helm stations offer excellent visibility, while the roomy cockpit and thoughtful layout make her equally suited for cruising.
From the cockpit, a swing door leads to a spacious and tastefully appointed salon with a large sofa, bench seating, and an entertainment center. The interior is finished in varnished maple cabinetry with real teak-and-holly sole and carpet. Wood blinds and fabric valances complete the décor, with ample LED lighting throughouThe fully equipped galley-forward to port-boasts Corian countertops, solid maple cabinetry, an electric glass cooktop, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, trash compactor, and dishwasher. Opposite, the dinette with wraparound seating and varnished wood table offers comfortable dining at sea.
Below, three staterooms each feature ensuite heads with showers. t. Climate control is provided by a full-boat chilled water air conditioning system.
