Why This Boat?

This particular boat stands out thanks to the low engine hours, unique crew cabin configuration, and the care and upgrades she's received from her knowledgeable owners.
SKYE has an 85 HP Perkins 4.236 diesel engine which drives a 3-bladed, 22 inch diameter propeller through a reversible Hurth transmission via a 1 3/4" diameter shaft. The combined shift lever and throttle control is located at the starboard helm along with the audible alarms for oil and temperature. The engine stop is located just below the tachometer on the instrument panel beside the starboard helm seat. The engine will propel the vessel to a maximum speed of just under 9 knots in calm water at the maximum RPM of 2800. Best cruising speed is at 1800 to 2000 RPM which drives the boat at approx. 6.8 to 7.7 knots
