SKYE has an 85 HP Perkins 4.236 diesel engine which drives a 3-bladed, 22 inch diameter propeller through a reversible Hurth transmission via a 1 3/4" diameter shaft. The combined shift lever and throttle control is located at the starboard helm along with the audible alarms for oil and temperature. The engine stop is located just below the tachometer on the instrument panel beside the starboard helm seat. The engine will propel the vessel to a maximum speed of just under 9 knots in calm water at the maximum RPM of 2800. Best cruising speed is at 1800 to 2000 RPM which drives the boat at approx. 6.8 to 7.7 knots

2022 Refit

This boat recieved a major refit in June 2022

Including 

Painting the top side hull with LP paint

Hull was soda blasted to the gelcoat- 5 coats if epoxy barrier coat applied and new bottom paint 

Prop and stuffing box replaced 

All new running rigging in 2022

Rocnar anchor 200' chain and 2000' rode

New Dinghy 2023 and 4 Hp tohatsue outboard( year unknow)

Fridge freezer compressor replaced in 2022
