Summary
This 2022 Beneteau Oceanis 40.1 is a well-equipped, lightly used cruiser set up for comfortable and capable sailing in the Pacific Northwest. The boat features the popular 3-cabin, 1-head layout with a walnut interior that provides a warm, modern feel without excess ornamentation.
Accomodations

When you descend the easy companionway steps into the Beneteau 40.1 you immediately feel welcome and comfortable.

With a walnut interior, light floor and light upholstery, the styling of the interior by Italian designers Nauta, is remarkably bright and excels in the skillful arrangement of the living spaces.

This boat comes with three cabins, a large master cabin forward with its own sink and 2 guest cabins aft with a shared head and separate shower.

In the main salon, the large C-shaped galley sits to starboard, offering lots of storage and a spacious worktop with a front and top loading fridge, a microwave, 2 burner propane stove and oven. On the port side, there is a large saloon with a table and a removable bench, and a chart table at the foot of the companionway provides ample working space. Everything is modular, so that everyone can live the way they want and enjoy sailing wherever the wind takes them.

The forward cabin on this boat has the volume of other 45 foot boats with an extra sink and vanity in lieu of a second head. The cabin has exceptional light with and overhead and 2 hull port lights. To port is a hanging locker, storage and shelves outboard.

Aft of the main salon are 2 cabins with queen berths and full standing headroom and good width for your guest to feel right at home.

Manufacturer-provided Description

Awarded "Best Monohull Cruising Boat Under 50ft" by Sail Magazine

Following in the wake of her elder sister the Oceanis 51.1, this 40-foot cruiser, with a new hull design by Marc Lombard, offers unrivaled deck volume and interior space, and there are no concessions to performance. The 12-metre long Oceanis 40.1 has successfully been adapted to the most demanding sailor’s cruising requirements and satisfying their need for comfort and pleasure under sail.

How can you enjoy life at anchor as much as sailing? With the innovative flared hull design of the Oceanis 40.1, and steps extending over a third of the bow, BENETEAU has broken new ground but made no concessions. The result is a hull that has true speed potential and is stiff under sail. Above the waterline, her deck plan and ultra-spacious interior by Nauta Design is unheard of on a boat this size. You cannot help feeling that you are aboard a 45 foot cruiser!

The styling of the interior by Italian designer Nauta, is remarkably bright and excels in the skillful arrangement of the living spaces.

A C-shaped galley to the starboard offers an abundance of storage and a spacious countertop. On the port side, there is a large salon with a table complete with a removable bench, and a chart table at the foot of the companionway provides ample working space. Everything is modular, so that everyone can live the way they want and enjoy sailing wherever the wind takes them.

The philosophy of the Oceanis 40.1 is to make sailing and mooring pleasurable. The strengths of this cruiser, studied in detail by the architect Marc Lombard and the BENETEAU design office, are unrivaled interior space, a huge deck plan, and the ability to clock up miles when you are cruising.
