UP DATE 3/4/2024: Just talked to the owner and he is addressing the items mentioned below about the liner, possible window leaks and new halyards. Doing this will make THIS Beneteau 351 VERY DESIREABLE and READY to sail without having things to do to her. Freshwater for 95% of her life ! !
This Inmast furling Beneteau 351 carries its strong 12'5" beam well aft and, not unlike current designs, incorporates the aft dimension to yield a big cockpit and roomy aft double berth. Priced to sell as to replace this boat would be in the 250k to 280k range (most depreciation already taken) she is currently on the Tennessee River in North Alabama.
The design includes good looking imitation teak inlaid wood in the cockpit seats and for the cockpit floor (low maintenance) and a fold down helmsman's seat that opens to an open transom design with large swim platforms on port & starboard.
The steering station includes the obvious engine controls and a built in cooler and a double leaf table. Electronics: Knotmeter, Depthmeter, Windspeed/ Wind Direction, Autohelm 4000+ self steering, VHF, and stereo. In fact, the owner recently installed NEW B&G instruments equivalent to what comes on a new Beneteau in 2023 - - 10,000.00 worth ! A wireless system. Take a look at the photos. Updated instruments for sure.
She is quite handsome. Other options such as refrigeration, the large sunbrella covered Bimini, custom cockpit closed cell cushions, and the Air conditioning System will delight your first mate even more.
The reason we are not asking 75,000 to 72,000 for the boat is that there are a number of window leaks (with plastic bowls to catch the occasional drip and that the exterior halyards either need replacing or cleaning to have things respectable and up to par). Unfortunately, the owner is super busy with his work and doesn't have the time to correct these items, so whomever buys the boat will get the benefit of a lower price way in excess of squaring these items away. Otherwise the boat is quite attractive. The boat even sports a high tech never installed new mainsail ! !
Located on the Tennessee River this 351 can be moved on her own bottom to the Gulf Coast or beyond. Or, we can assist in transportation and help recommission the boat within reasonable distance as a turn key deal.
We are ready if you are.
