The flagship Beneteau 57 was conceived of as a true offshore cruiser by the renowned designer Bruce Farr and reflects a rare moment in production boatbuilding when performance, structural integrity, and long-range comfort were all given equal priority. The moderate displacement, generous sail area, and well-proportioned hull shape translate into a yacht that is both powerful and easily driven with spirited performance that doesn't sacrifice the steady, reassuring motion demanded for passage making.
On deck, the center cockpit configuration is a defining feature, offering security offshore and excellent visibility for the helmsman from the port side helm station. The cockpit itself is deep, well-protected, and designed for both passage making and entertaining. Wide teak side decks and solid construction further reinforce her offshore credentials, while thoughtful touches such as a generous aft deck and integrated swim platform enhance life at anchor.
Rigged as a sloop with a removable inner forestay and a self-tacking Lewmar track, a staysail can be added to the sail plan allowing the configuration to be shifted to a cutter/sloop. Designed with control lines running aft to the center cockpit and three powered winches, it is well set up for easy shorthanded sailing.
This air conditioned four cabin version has one large owner cabin aft with ensuite head and separate shower, a watch cabin with separate head / shower, and two guest cabins forward with separate heads and a shared shower.

Accommodations
Sara Lynn has a beautiful dark navy hull, teak decks, toe rail, and cockpit, with an expansive, bright, and exceptionally well laid out interior, finished with alpi woodwork in fruit tree color matt varnish, parquet type matt-varnished floors, and padded ceilings. The salon offers generous seating and a welcoming atmosphere for entertaining or extended living aboard.
The air-conditioned interior includes separate thermostats and controllers for the salon and each of the four private cabins; two guest cabins forward, a watch cabin off the starboard passageway, and full-beam aft owner's cabin.
