1999 Bayliner 4708 Motor Yacht

The vessel is a 48 twin screw motor yacht built in 1999 by Bayliner Marine Corp. Everette, WA 98124. Construction is hand lay-up glass reinforced plastic resin from two molds joined at deck line with balsa cored decks. Hull is hard chine with 6 degrees deadrise aft. Topsides are white, bottom black and decks are white.

Decks are fiberglass sandwich construction with foam coring. Steering is dual position Hynautic hydraulic from bridge and wheelhouse. Bridge is accessed from wheel house and aft cockpit. Bow rail is stainless steel and extends back to cabin house.

Interior finish is teak veneer over plywood. Counter tops are Corian with wood and rug covered floors. Refrigerator is Isotherm refrigerator / freezer updated in 2021. Cooking is by Princess 3 single burner electric cooktop with oven and Whirlpool microwave oven. Toilets are vacuum flush electric with 40 gallon plastic holding tank and overboard discharge. Wheel house is fitted with aluminum opening doors. Three Marine Air AC/heat units rated at 1600 BTUs.

The vessel is powered by twin Cummins 6-BTA 5.9 6 cylinder turbo diesel engines. Cooling is by fresh water. HP is 370 per engine. Transmissions are ZF gears with 1.96-1 reduction.

The vessel is 12-120 volt. Circuit protection is by panel with breaker switches for both systems along with vapor tight battery switches. Three Interstate 8D 12-volt batteries and for starting and house batteries and one group 24 battery for the generator start. Auxiliary power is furnished by Westerbeake 12.5 KW diesel generator.

Hooker 40lb anchor with 5/16" chain and rode secured on bow roller with Muir electric windlass with deck foot controls.
