3388 History
The Bayliner 3388 Motor Yacht was one of the most affordable twin-diesel family cruisers available during her production years. She's basically an updated version of the popular Bayliner 3288 MY (1981-95) with a fresh profile and several hull refinements. The mid-cabin interior of the 3388 is similar to her predecessor with the galley down and amidships guest cabin located beneath the elevated dinette. A lower helm was standard, and there's a separate stall shower in the head compartment. An accordion door provides privacy for the forward stateroom. Additional features include a low-profile sport arch, prop pockets, swim platform, and bow pulpit. The cabin and flybridge are a single mold which according to Bayliner reduced problems with window leakage. Standard 260hp gas inboards cruise the Bayliner 3388 at 15-16 knots (mid 20s top).
