Azimut is best known for sleek lines, high-performance, and style that stands the test of time. From the renowned Italian Azimut-Benetti shipyard the 55 Evolution was designed and constructed to Off-Shore Navigation Category B standards.
This is a thoughtfully arranged flybridge motor yacht with three staterooms, two heads and additional single bunk, single head crew quarters.
Aft Cockpit
Beautiful teak is found throughout the aft cockpit. Recently re-upholstered (2023) lounge seating that is both comfortable and functional - with crew quarter access below the starboard section. An adjustable cockpit table allows for alfresco dining and easy in-and-out from the seating.
Two side boarding doors (both port and starboard) are great for any docking situation and the wide starboard side transom steps grant access to the swim deck. Supplementary grab rails were added to both sides of the transom for safety and ease of boarding.
Salon
The wide sliding glass door leads to the well-appointed salon and galley areas with multiple seating arrangements and room for several guests.
The main salon features a plush U-shaped couch and circular coffee table to port, with entertainment center with televator and cabinet storage to starboard. Carpeted floors create a cozy sense of home.
A double step separates the main salon and galley/ dining zone, while maintaining plenty of headroom.
The generous use of windows allows fantastic natural lighting throughout the main floor.
Galley/Dining Area
From the double step forward, rich hardwood flooring flows effortlessly through the galley, dining area, and helm station.
The port-side galley comes standard with marble counter tops, sink, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, cooktop, and island style bar with ample cabinet storage.
An oversized leather couch and dining table are off to starboard.
Main Floor Helm Station
The centered helm has a clean and simple layout with an electric adjustable captain's chair and two recently upgraded Raymarine screens (2023).
The large windshield and expansive windows grant excellent visibility in any direction.
Staterooms and Heads
A three stateroom, two head layout comfortably accommodates 6 without the need to fight for space.
The master stateroom is aft, with VIP forward, and guest to starboard.
Both heads (master ensuite) are fitted with sink countertops, cabinet storage, walk-in showers and vanity mirrors. The master is also outfitted with bidet.
Flybridge
The bridge side helm is loaded with two updated Raymarine screens and bow/stern thruster paddles. Large helm drop-in storage for charts, covers and accessories.
There is great visibility forward, to either side, and down the port stairwell looking aft.
Recently re-upholstered lounge pad and couch surround the dining table, while the BBQ, refrigerator and wet sink sits just behind the helm.
Tender storage and davit are on the bridge as well, leaving the transom and swim deck free.
Crew Quarters
Crew quarters are hidden below the aft cockpit lounge seat.
For a 55, the crew quarters are quite spacious with single bunk and combination head and shower.
Great for running with a mate or relief Captain, or for general storage for the owner-operator oriented.
Power
Powered by twin CAT C-12's packing 715hp each. She boasts 1450 hours and was just recently serviced for summer.
The C-12's drive her along at an impressive cruising speed of 29kts at 50% load, and top-end of 32kts at 50% load.
Side Power bow and stern thrusters simplify maneuvering and docking.
20kW Kohler Generator and 50-amp shore power with inverters runs all your appliances, AC, and outlets.
