The 34� Atlantic Express/Sportfish is a mighty little design. Acts as tough as a much larger sportfish and handles the seas with ease. The Atlantic was designed and built by Scopinich�s Boat Yard in Palatka, FL. They also build the Blackfin, so this is definitely a solidly build boat. This particular Atlantic 34 was repowered in 2013 with brand new Cummins 6BTA�s that currently have less than 1,000 hours on each. They sip the fuel at a 1.5 nautical mile to the gallon at 22 knts burn rate (approx. 18 gallons an hour) and with the total fuel tankage of 400 gallons, this mighty little warrior has a long range.
It is decked out with a marlin tower with full controls, (approx. 20 ft. air draft) outriggers, live well, fish box, padded gunnels, 9 integrated rod holders, 4 pole rocket launcher, underwater LED lights and more to make this a great fishing boat. Newer electronics, auto helm, Boss stereo with Bluetooth and remote, plus a nicely appointed galley, sleeps 4, a head, generator, air conditioning and a windlass all add up to a comfortable fishing boat that will get you to the Bahamas for a weekend or longer.
