This Albin 28 has the upgraded 300HP Peninsular Diesel 6.5L "The BEAST" diesel engine.

The Albin 28 Tournament Express is the forerunner of the Albin Tournament Express series. Albin is known for its solid construction and this open water vessel is just as popular as a family cruiser as it is a fishing boat.

Designed to satisfy the exacting demands of the offshore-inshore fisherman, this boat also incorporates comforts normally expected for a family weekend on the water. Features appealing to the fisherman include wide side decks, a large cockpit, baitwell, rod storage racks, swim platform, rod holders and tackle drawers.

The cockpit is large and open, with room for fishing or entertaining. The helm station with its pedestal seat is to starboard, with a companion seat to port.

Inside the cabin there's a large berth forward that converts from a bed to a dinette. The galley has a sink, stove, microwave and refrigerator. There's an enclosed head compartment to starboard, with a sink, marine head and shower. There's another double berth aft of the galley on the port side. This boat can sleep four comfortably.

This Albin 28TE will have AC installed on it as well as a windlass which it does not currently have. Six opening portholes and an overhead hatch provide excellent ventilation. With its bow thruster for dock-side maneuvering and its unequaled reputation as an offshore-inshore fishing boat, the Albin 28 is a true delight to handle in any weather.
