Aluminum Chambered Boats (ACB), based in Bellingham, Washington gained a strong reputation in the early 2000s for building nearly indestructible, welded air chambered sections, high-performance vessels. The robust design offers significant advantages and has been known for hard-use recreational performance, commercial fishing, military, law enforcement, search & rescue and other commercial applications. The configuration of this vessel, with the 350 HP outboard rather calm waters or significant 'chop' her design makes for a heavy duty, stable, smooth fast ride. The owner is willing to further customize this vessel at the buyers request
Hull Material
• Welded marine-grade aluminum, typically 5086 or 5052 alloy.
• Corrosion-resistant, durable, and designed for long-term use in saltwater
environments.
Chambered Hull
• The “chambered” part refers to a series of sealed aluminum chambers running the length of the hull on both sides.
• These air-tight chambers act like integrated pontoons:
• Prevent sinking even if the main hull is breached.
• Provide unsinkable buoyancy and exceptional roll stability.
Structure & Features
• Reinforced full-length longitudinal stringers and bulkheads.
• Self-bailing decks with scuppers and aggressive non-skid surfacing.
• Foam-filled sponsons in some models for extra flotation.
• Shock-mitigating seating and reinforced decks for high-impact use.
• Heavy-duty welded tow points and lifting eyes (especially for military/law
enforcement models).
Sound & Ride Quality
• Aluminum can be loud; ACBs often use acoustic damping materials
• The chambered hull design allows soft entry into waves and better impact
absorption than conventional deep-V monohulls.
• Virtually unsinkable construction
• High-impact tolerance (can be beached or hull-impacted without failure)
• Simple, rugged, mission-ready
• Low maintenance (no fiberglass to rot or delaminate)
Although the year notes a 2003 hull, this rig is practically brand new.
Interior was completely striped down. Side walls were stripede of the liner and re-lined, Hull was stripped to the bare aluminum hull, acid washed, 2 coats of zinc chromate, 2 coats of epoxy, 2 coats of bilge paint.
A blank canvas to be custom designed by the new owner
Seller is willing to accommodate buyers request for custom installs i.e. fresh water tanks, head, etc
Whatever is required can be done.
