The Carver 445 Aft Cabin Motor Yacht blends quality materials, structural integrity, and superior craftsmanship into this popular yacht. "Irish Hurricane" has completed two Great Loops plus cruised from Lake Superior to Montreal and throughout New England. Her current owners have traveled aboard for up to 11 months at a time. Since November 2023 she has been in a covered slip or moored north of Virginia. Vessel, machinery, and running gear have been carefully maintained to ensure longevity. The 445's modified vee hull provides stability on the water or dockside and allows the vessel to operate off or on plane. Walkaround main deck offers secure movement; swim platform affords easy boarding. The vessel is great for weekend cruising, dockside living, and entertaining. A hard-top, Isinglass enclosed sun deck has ample room for patio furniture; sundeck isinglass includes zip-in mosquito screening and separate drapes that offer full or partial privacy when drawn. Swim platform has hot/cold freshwater shower and sturdy 4-rung swim ladder. Weaver davit system with additional block and tackle offers ease of launch/ recovery. Foredeck has sunning pad.
