The Maritimo M 51 is the result of refinement of the popular M48. The hull design is similar with subtle changes to the beam and running surfaces.
Hull construction is solid fiberglass with the decks and superstructure cored with balsa. The result is strong, lightweight construction keeping the weight low. The ride is comfortable, dry and efficient going through the water.
She planes at 18 knots, cruises between 20-25 and tops out around 30 in flat water. The most efficient speed is around 18-20 knots for fuel economy.
Haiku is equipped with a Sea Keeper 6 for roll-less running even in a severe sea state keeping your family and friends comfortable and reducing the possibility of seasickness. The Volvo D11's with 670 HP are dependable and fuel efficient. Service are parts are available worldwide. Generator is Cummings /Onan and provides 13.5 Kw.
The interior of the M51 is pure luxury, the walnut interior is gloss finished which provides a warm interior with easy cleaning. The upholstery is white leather and the carpets are water resistant for ease of cleaning. Appliances are Miele and are Stainless steel. The combination washer/ dryer is by LG.
The master cabin is close to the center of the yacht with a King size bed and ensuite head and shower. The location of the stateroom reduces pitching in the cabin for your mate to sleep in when you want to get an early start. Windows in the hull provide excellent light and open views.
The flybridge is accessed by stairs leading from inside the cabin. Visibility from the helm is almost 360 d. Pompanette, Platinum Series leather helm chairs are of the highest quality and provide extreme comfort even on those long running days. Navigation is handled by duel Garmin plotters with integrated Radar ensure easy and safe navigation.
This yacht shows like new. One owner, never chartered, the plastic is still on the carpets. Pacific NW boat kept out of the water over the winters. Impeccable condition.
