The Jeanneau Sun Magic 44 is a performance racer/cruiser which has a Kevlar reiforced hull to make her supper light and strong. The Sun Magic 44 is listed as one of Jeanneau's iconic sailboats. 1990 was the last year that Jeanneau was an independent company before being purchased by Beneteau. The last True racer/cruiser built by Jeaneau, this hull is the predecessor to the "First Series" designs.
This Jeanneau Features In-mast Furling system, new roller furling headsail, Bow Thruster, Autohelm 6000 auto pilot, New Radar/Chartplotter, Newer Wind, Depth, Speed instruments, Newer Thru-hulls (2021), The keel was stripped to bare metal and epoxied in 2021, The original decks were removed and replaced with with new coring, fiberglass, and non-skid in 2023 (repair video available), All new toe rails in 2024, New dodger and bimini in 2024, New companionway hatch in 2024, New center salon hatch in 2024 ... and soooo much more!!!
Forward is the Master Cabin featuring a center-line queen sized berth, with 2 lockers with shelves on port and starboard.There are 2 becnch seats (port and Starboard), and an overhaed opening hatch with 2 opening ports.There ia a master enclosed head to starboard with vanity sink and head, molded cabinets with overhead hatch. Directly to port is an enclosed stall shower with vanity sink, molded cabinets, and overhead hatch.
The saloon has a large dinette with table and fixed center-line seating. Galley is to port with top loading refrigerator located forward under forward under the counter. Dual SS sinks with storage underneath, and opening port. 2 burner PP Stove w/Oven with retractable counter top cover, and a large cabinet outboard.
The Navigation station is aft of the galley with an opening desk, AC/DC breakers, and mounted electronics, storage cabinet under desk with seat and locker.
Guest stateroom aft to starboard has 2 opening ports, and a small opening hatch. double berth, hanging locker, shelved locker with 3 shelves. Sink and mirror inboard with shelf and access below. Main Head is to port, and has an intergrated shower with plastic molded sink and cabinets and opening port.
Aft cabin to port has a double berth, 2 port lights, Vanity sink, hanging locker, shelved locker with 3 shelves, with 2 engine access doors. The main engine access is located under the companionway steps
