Welcome to Deception, she is named that for a reason. "Why?" you might ask, because she is a lot faster than she looks. As you know the Chaparral Villain II was known for being a fast and comfortable boat in the early 90's, and that holds true today. The current owner knew this, but wanted to make her faster, and more fun!
One of the things that he did was take out the stock 5.7L V-8 and put in a supercharged 6.2L motor built and installed by Flagship Marine. He also decided to beef up the stock outdrive. He took the Alpha SS Merc outdrive and added titanium and composite shaft and gears. All this work was done by Flagship Marine High Performance Engines in Punta Gorda and General Prop and Shaft in Sarasota. This enables Deception to handle the higher pitch prop with maximum cupping for additional speed.
Besides being the fastest Chaparral Villain II, she will turn heads with a custom wrap, and a custom high wattage sound system to listen to while out on the sandbar with friends. This boat is a must have!
