1978 Kayot, 53'. Remodeled in 1988, maintained and upgraded continuously since then. She is located in a very desirable slip at Hall's Crossing Marina.

Steel pontoons have been reskinned larger and redesigned aft for better efficiency and reverse thrust. Very durable.

Two 90hp Mercury 4 stroke outboards 2010. Mid cruise power now gives about 7.5-8 mph.

Stern redesigned for engine protection and convenient dock for family boat tie-up, fishing and boarding.

Main deck from the front:

Aluminum boarding plank slides under deck. Pressure foot wash at front gate. Front deck has seating with cushions all around with storage boxes under. Shade from upper deck overhead. Roller shade cloth blinds. Tables for dining. Gas freezer box holds ice from melting, but will not freeze new ice.

Main room interior has steering station with back-up camera screen and controls for engines. Steering is by manual hydraulic pump. VHF radio, spot light and 12v outlet.

Stereo with XM satellite radio and LED tv. Two queen sized futons serve as sofas during the day. Air conditioner runs on shore power or generator. Built in gas heater for cooler weather. Screens on all windows. Multiple 115v outlets for use with shore power, generator or inverter.

Aft part of main room is the kitchen. New three burner gas stove and oven. Microwave. Double full size sink with filtered lake water faucet and drinking water spigot. Gas/electric refrigerator. Two full door closets for food and appliance storage. Full complement of dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc. Pressure pump supplies filtered lake water to gas hot water heater and all sinks. Inverter control is wall mounted near stove.

Moving aft there are 2 heads: portside- large head with toilet, vanity and shower. Starboard -small head with only toilet and sink. Both heads have drinking water spigots. Small utility closet with brooms, vacuum, etc.

Aft bunk room has been redesigned to have storage cubicles instead of up and down single bunks on starboard side. Up and down double bunks still remain on port side. Under bunk is 2000 watt inverter/charger and other electrical components, tools and hardware parts, 80 gallon drinking water tank, filter and pressure pump.

On the aft deck is the 4 burner gas grill, engine boxes, battery box with 6 new golf cart batteries and the ladder to the upper deck.

Upper deck has the 5500 watt generator, slide, two 70 gallon aux. fuel tanks, rv solar panel, and awning over about 1/3 of the space.

There are 8 interior spaces to sleep, and about 12 sleeping mats in various configurations of double and single. It is possible to sleep inside if it rains, but is much more comfortable to sleep on the upper deck in good weather.
