1998 J32 "Bellota"
The J32 is widely regarded as one of the best performing cruiser/racers ever built. Bellota offers her owners and crew a unique combination of comfort, styling and performance usually only found in cruising yachts of considerably greater length and cost. She is easily handled by a couple but readily carries a much larger crew for cruising, racing or partying.
Whether running for the island or reaching for the mark, the J32 is a very competent performer. She is seakindly, stiff and fast. She is a J-Boat through and through with advanced composite SCRIMP construction, bow sections that are flared to deflect waves downward and an easily driven hull shape with short overhangs and a low center of gravity.
Key features include:
1) Hall carbon fiber spar and rod rigging (factory option)
2) North Carbon cruising sails: full batten main w/ Tides Marine Fast Track, 130% genoa and asymmetrical cruising spinnaker & Stack Pac mainsail cover
3) Electric primary winches
4) Lithium house batteries, Blue Tooth monitoring, Balmar high output alternator
5) Two 150 watt solar panels with Victron controller and Blue Tooth monitoring
