DESIGN COMMENTS & INTERIOR & EXTERIOR

Today the Bertram 31 continues to be a very popular family cruiser.  Her Hunt design is extremely well respected in the marine industry and is often the "yard stick' other designers use to measure features that make for a vessel's safe and comfortable offshore ride.  Her deep-V hull, long strakes, and bow flare are perfect for choppy seas, offshore passages or just carving through calm waters on a summer morning.

INTERIOR:

EQUINOX II has a simple and practical interior with single V-berth forward, dining area (that converts to berth) to port with the head just to starboard.  The lower fully-equipped helm station with repeat GPS Plotter and VHF is forward of the head.  Convenient pocket-style doors enclose the companionway and head area.

EXTERIOR:

The Bertram 31 has always been known for her palatial sized cockpit.  Great for entertaining with multiple folding chairs or space for a fighting chair for the avid fisherman.  Forward facing aft cockpit seating has new blue Sunbrella canvas weather cover to match the flybridge awning and weather covers too.  A sturdy stainless steel ladder allows easy access to the fully equipped flybridge including plotter, engine instruments, helm and more.  A custom highly polished radar arch was added to the boat during her 2011 refit to mount the Furuno radar and more.  Great engine access through the removable cockpit engine box covers.  EQUINOX II is a true classic cruiser, respected by the saltiest of mariners and she is ready for a new owner to enjoy immediately.
