Aft Deck

Entering the vessel from the custom carbon fiber boarding ladder on the port side (works on both sides), you will find a long and wide deck of “eco-teak” fully covered by a composite hard top. A large table and chairs sit on top of the large deck, with hatches on both sides of the deck which provide easy access to the engines, should you ever need it from the main deck. A transom door opens to a two-step ladder down to an extra-large swim platform, which also carries a small RIB tender. On the forward part of the aft deck, stretching 3/4 of the way across from port to starboard are storage cabinets, a refrigerator, a small BBQ grill, and nice counter spaces on both sides of the grill. A wide and generous angled ladder with dual handrails gives you straight access up to the flybridge. A door on the starboard side opens to the salon.

Salon

Access to the Salon via the door on the starboard side. The salon is open and bright with natural light from large windows on all four sides. The light color of the interior is refreshing, especially when highlighted by the light color of the American Elm, modern stainless fixtures, and the clean, elegant styling from a couple whose design taste perfectly blends the classic and modern forms, which makes this project so unique. There is a large U-shaped sofa with a dining table to port, and a comfortable built-in straight sofa on the starboard side, which flows forward towards the galley.

Galley

The galley is midship, just forward of the dining area. The custom-built galley is beautiful and was designed to allow easy access to each of the necessary pieces of equipment, which are well-appointed. Modern stainless appliances highlight the design and blend beautifully with the soft edges of the white counters and custom elm cabinetry. All appliances are below counter level, keeping sleek lines and an open feeling of the entire salon and galley area consistent. Forward of the galley are the accommodations.

  • Bosch Oven + Bosch 4 Burner Induction Stove
  • BBQ Magma Propane
  • 2 x FrigoBoat (can alt. as freezer)
  • 1 x John Lewis Refrigerator
  • Hot Water Heater
  • Misc. Small Appliances
  • Eco Systems Splasher-25 Water Maker
  • Bosch Washer/Dryer
Accommodations

Down a few steps from the galley begins the living quarters with a generous powder room, which doubles as the guest head. It is outfitted with a white Corian sink and large countertop, elm wood cabinets and drawers, and has a separate door to enter the toilet and shower area. Adjacent to the head on the starboard side is the guest cabin.

Guest Cabin

The guest cabin is on the starboard side and has two perpendicular beds in an L-shaped configuration. Portlights and deck hatches bring generous light into this room, which has a wide hanging closet below the aft bunk and storage drawers built below the nightstand of the forward bunk. Forward of the guest cabin is the owner's suite.

Owner Suite

The Owner Suite is full beam and all the way forward with a centerline bed beautifully built into the tapered walls, which mirror the hull form. Extra space was kept on both sides of the bed, making it easy to access and to simplify the tedious task of changing the bedsheets. Slightly aft on the port side is the owner's bathing area and head, which is also bright and open with great natural light, perfect evening lighting, and modern stainless fixtures. A slight step down into the bathing area gives you extra headroom in the shower, another nice touch, of which there are many that the owners conceived of before and during the construction.

Engine Room

The engine room is accessed through a floor hatch in the aft part of the salon. A large storage area is outside of the engine room door, which features the large gyro stabilizer centerline, huge DC battery banks on both outboard sides, and a washer/dryer. Entering the engine room, it is clear that an engineer made the layout and design choices. There is plenty of room, access to everything is easy, plus the organization and labelling of all pipes and wiring runs are a technical masterpiece of logic and simplicity.

Flybridge

The flybridge is accessed from the main deck via a wide and sturdy ladder with dual handrails and proper pitch, which makes the short climb an easy endeavor. The flybridge has a composite hardtop and can be fully enclosed with large sections of flexible plexiglass. The view is stunning and a full 360 degrees. There is a medium-sized expandable table to port surrounded by an L-shaped sofa for three to four people and a nice settee to starboard, which can comfortably accommodate two people. A pair of sturdy STIDD chairs is at the helm controls, and the dashboard is perfectly laid out as you would expect. All equipment and electronics are brand new and barely used. Redundant screens and simplicity are nice features, as well as the controls for bow and stern thrusters, making this an easy vessel for a couple to run.

DC - Concept

The owners wanted a vessel that was capable of running on battery power for an extended period of time, so they installed large battery banks that convert electricity to most areas of the vessel. As the power level drops, a simple yet ingenious configuration charges the batteries either by PTO off the main engines if they are running, or by a tiny but capable enclosed generator all the way aft in the engine room. The idea was to be able to run all night long at anchor with anything you needed without having to run a generator the whole time. She is designed to handle an entire evening and overnight power needs, but in the event the battery levels drop enough, the soundproof generator quietly kicks on for a bit of restock the charge levels.

TINA is a brilliantly conceived vessel that has been used by a very knowledgeable couple exploring the Exumas (Bahamas) all winter. They have decided to move up to a larger vessel with additional space, as they had no idea how many friends and family members would want to join them on their new exploration plans in the foreseeable future.
