40' Mainship Vessel Walkthrough
From the fiberglass swimplatform, you enter the hardtop covered aftdeck via the transom gate. Once inside the aftdeck, you can walk out either same level side deck, step up the molded-in steps to the flybridge or walk through the double aluminum & glass doors to the salon. Once inside the salon, you will find the galley to starboard, lower helm and side deck access door starboard forward, sofa with storage to port and a dinette with a benchseat and custom benchseat/storage/ottoman port forward. Walk forward and step down into the companionway to find the guest stateroom to port, master stateroom forward and the head with an enclosed shower to starboard. Engine room access is via salon sole hatches.
Headroom in the salon is 6'6", 6'9" on the flybridge, 6'1" in the master stateroom, 5'10" to 6'4" in the guest stateroom and 6'4" in the shower. The master stateroom berth is 6'2" long, the guest stateroom inboard berth is 5'10" long and the guest stateroom outboard berth is 6'5" long.
The height from the waterline to the top of the navigation light is 19', 17'2"' to the top of the bimini and 12'6" to the top of the windscreen.
40' Mainship Accommodations
Blue Horizon offers a master stateroom forward with an island queen size berth and direct access to the head and enclosed shower; and a guest stateroom to port with side by side single berths. The head has access from the companionway, in addition to the master stateroom, and is across the companionway from the guest stateroom.
40' Mainship Salon
The salon offers a sofa with storage to port, dinette with a benchseat with storage and a custom benchseat with storage, that also can serve as an ottoman with the sofa, port forward, a side deck access door starboard forward, double aluminum & glass doors and sliding retractable screen door aft, vinyl teak & holly sole, opening side windows with screens and blinds, opening center windshield and engine room access.

The guest stateroom is to port and offers side by side single size berths with storage underneath and an insert to convert them into a double size berth, portlight, carpet, storage cabinets, hanging locker and an overhead hatch with a screen. The head with enclosed shower is across the companionway.

The flybridge offers a non-skid deck, fold-up table, a benchseat with storage to starboard, L-shaped seating with storage port aft, benchseat with storage each side forward, Garelick Eez-In helmseat, mate seat port forward, seating covers, bimini, Eisenglass enclosure, storage cabinets, trim tab controls, searchlight control, bowthruster control, electronic engine controls, anchor windlass control and electronics as detailed in the electronics section of this presentation.
40' Mainship Sundeck
The sundeck aft of the flybridge offers a non-skid deck, stainless steel rails, molded-in steps to the aftdeck, 2 deck chairs, removable table, hinged mast base, stainless steel tender davits and a wetbar with a stainless steel sink, Force 10 grill, refrigerator (icemaker inoperable) and storage space.

The aftdeck offers a hardtop, non-skid deck, same level access to each side deck, double aluminum & glass doors to the salon, molded-in steps to the sundeck and flybridge, lazarette access, transom storage, transom gate, fold-down boarding step on each side, storage under the steps and a hot/cold fresh water shower.
