Accommodations
Satin finish varnished teak interior with satin finished teak and holly soles. Eight opening ports and three hatches provide plenty of natural light and ventilation while several overhead Cantulupi recessed lamps and swivel type reading lamps at each berth and settee provide an abundance of artificial lighting. Three hatches and eight ports provide abundant natural light and ventilation below and there are two sliding windows, opening centerline windshield and two hatches providing lots of natural air on the helm deck.
Starting forward is the Master Stateroom featuring the more comfortable V berth arrangement, below which there are four drawers and two drop face lockers as well as a dressing seat. Above the berth the hull is lined with teak ceilings and there are underdeck lockers. Aft of the starboard berth is a bureau with four drawers with a locker outboard and there is a cedar lined hanging locker aft of the port V.
Aft of the Master Stateroom and to starboard is the Guest Stateroom featuring upper and lower single berths with drawers under the lower berth. There is a cedar lined hanging locker and a small bureau with three drawers aft.
To starboard is the Head with separate stall shower, Vacuflush W.C., vanity with Corian counter top and sink and ample storage. Continuing aft is the Salon featuring L settee and pedestal mounted table. There is storage below the settee and outboard of the seat back as well as in teak faced lockers and shelves above. At the inboard end of the settee is a small bureau-end table.
Up three steps to the air conditioned helm deck featuring an L settee and to port. The settee has a custom 3" extension to make it far more comfortable than the standard Eastbay 43 settee. There is bin storage below the settee. Opposite to starboard is a small settee (also with the extension and cabinet). When the yacht was ordered new, reading lamps were specified for the helm deck settees, another plus for this vessel over many of her sisterships. There is a second custom varnished teak table with an extension for the settees that allow dining from both the starboard settee and the L settee. Forward of the settees are companion pompanette seats for the Captain and Navigator. All of the helm deck fabrics were renewed in 2007 in a light tan ultra leather.
