Vessel Walk Thru
Accommodations for four with a varnished teak interior with varnished teak and holly sole. There is an abundance of natural light and ventilation with three stainless steel framed hatches and six opening stainless steel ports all of which are fitted with screens. The hatches are fitted with Ocean Air frames with screens and blinds. When natural ventilation alone is insufficient, a reverse cycle (heats and cools) air conditioning system will keep interior spaces comfortable with a wide range of temperatures.

To starboard is the U-shaped Dining Settee with storage under and above and outboard in lockers and shelves. The settee forms a double berth when the hi/low pedestal mounted dining table is dropped to form a filler.
Across to port is the U-shaped Galley with Corian counter tops and double basin polished stainless steel sink. Chilled food stuffs are easily managed in the Norcold dual voltage below counter refrigeration unit and Polarmate top loading freezer. A Princess 3 burner propane stove with oven does the cooking and a Sharp convection microwave conveniently handles re-heats. There is plenty of storage in several lockers and drawers.
Up three steps (with storage under) to the Helm Deck. To port is an L-settee with storage under and a varnished teak "grate" style table and the Helm Station is to port. Down just two steps to the cockpit with aft facing bench seat and plenty of room for deck chairs.

Additional InformationAs brokers, we get to see a tremendous number of boats. This Eastbay 38 ranks in the top 1% conditionwise, the attention to detail by the owners is impressive as a showing will confirm.
A couple of independent comments on the Eastbay 38 HX are below:
"The Grand Banks 38 Eastbay EX rides a solid fiberglass deep-vee hull designed by C. Raymond Hunt Associates... Prop pockets reduce draft to slightly more than 3 feet. The wide side decks and full-length side rails allow easy movement around the boat. The raised bridge deck (with engines below) has a well-appointed helm station to starboard, laid out with a large instrument console and room for a navigation station." ~ Steve Knauth for Soundings
"The first Eastbay model ââ?¬â?? this is the boat that launched Grand Banks in an all-new direction. The quality and care with which the Eastbay 38 EX was constructed is clearly evident from her varnished teak toe rails to her finely finished interior. Stepping up from the large cockpit, the 38ââ?¬â?¢s expansive helm deck includes.. "L shape"...seating... to port and a custom... chair at the helm. Forward, the main cabin features a full-service galley to port and convertible U-shaped seating opposite. The head/shower is located to port on the way to the master stateroom which is ... a center island berth. A transom door and teak swim platform were standard. The 38 HX has a hardtop and semi-enclosed helm deck.) Top speeds of 30+ knots were achievable. Over 130 were built." ~ Powerboat Guide
