Vessel Walk Thru
This beautifully finished Duffy 37 will accommodate up to 4 in a single stateroom galley down configuration. The yacht is finished in varnished teak below with varnished teak and holly sole while in the wheelhouse she is finished with varnished teak trim on white flat panels with varnished teak and holly sole. Headroom is 6'-4"+ in the salon/wheelhouse, 6'-2.5" in the galley area and 6'-1.5" in the stateroom. Excellent natural light and ventilation with 4 stainless steel ports below and a large hatch while windows surround the wheelhouse/salon area with a total of 3 doors and three sliding windows. When natural ventilation does not do the trick there is a reverse cycle air conditioning unit and if heat only is desired there is a "bus type" heater that runs off the engine. There is 12 volt lighting throughout via numerous recessed LED lights strategically located to provide good working and reading light.
Starting forward is the separate stateroom featuring a 6'-7" V-berth with filler. Below the berth there is top access type storage while above the berth the hull is lined with varnished Ash "ceilings". Aft of the berth there are matching 4 drawer bureaus with 1/2 height hanging lockers outboard.
Next aft to port is the U-shaped galley with Corian simulated granite counter top and under mount stainless steel sink with H&C pressure water. There is excellent storage in 4 drawers and 4 large lockers. A Force 10 Propane 2 burner stove with oven (never used) handles cooking duties and quick re-heats are handled in the microwave oven while a 12 volt NovaKool refrigerator freezer handles chilled food stuffs.
Opposite to starboard is the enclosed head with separate stall shower, featuring a Techna vacuum flush type W.C. plumbed to a holding tank, large vanity with Corian simulated granite counter with decorative top mount glass sink with H&C pressure water. Storage in 1 drawer and 2 good sized lockers. The separate stall shower is forward.
Up three steps (storage under) to the Salon/Wheelhouse. This area is particularly bright and airy being surrounded by windows, three of which are sliders, and three doors with windows P&S and aft. To starboard is the helm station with all Navionics and vessel controls and a high backed Pompanette seat with electronically controlled adjustments. Immediately adjacent is the starboard side door allowing the Captain immediate access to the side decks.
To port is the "Navigator's" seat which is an identical Pompanette with manual controls and adjacent port side door.
Aft and to port is the L-settee allowing comfortable seating for 4 with storage under. Dining is from a varnished teak pedestal table which can accommodate up to six and which folds out and drops down to allow the settee to be made into a comfortable double 6'-7" in length and 51" in width. Opposite the settee is a bureau housing the entertainment center and storage in lockers.
To starboard of centerline is the aft door accessing the cockpit. The cockpit has a fiberglass sole and is fitted with two Bowman aluminum hatches to access storage areas, on centerline is a transom door accessing the teak swim platform. Forward and to port is a storage cabinet with sink with H&C pressure water.
It is an easy step up onto the wide side decks with conveniently placed hand holds providing ease of access fore and aft.
Throughout the interior offers a warm feeling with the extensive teak joiner work while the extensive windows and ports gives her a bright airy feeling
