Overview
This single engine, Mainship 390 is a very popular midsize trawler. The hull is semi-displacement with keel. It has abundant storage space and has been well maintained and upgraded for cruising by the owner. The single CAT 3126 diesel & Kohler 8 KW diesel generator have been professionally maintained & all maintenance records are available. The original owner's manual & equipment manuals organized in notebooks are included. The running gear consists of a standard bow thruster that simplifies docking, a 1 3/4" SS propeller shaft & 4 blade bronze propeller, 26"X21", a bronze strut & rudder & dual trim tabs. All below waterline thru-hulls & ball valve seacocks are bronze.
The large fully enclosed canvas (linen color) flybridge with U-shaped zippers, offers outstanding visibility, protection from the elements & can seat up to 8 adults plus the center helm. There is abundant storage under the seat cushions & behind the seat backs. There is full instrument & navigation electronics with canvas cover, a fixed drop-leaf table with storage and a radar mast. The aft upper deck which overhangs the cockpit below, has a teak flag pole mount & SS crane & is surrounded by double SS railings. It is perfect for lounging, entertainment or stargazing. There are 2 folding chairs & a folding cocktail table. Access to the flybridge is via a wide, molded staircase with a full SS handrail. SS grab rails are located on both sides of the upper deck for safety when boarding.
The main walk around deck is protected by a high bulwark & SS railings. There is a forward split locker & bow pulpit with anchor roller, anchor chain & rode, a remote controlled electric windlass & FW washdown. A bow flag holder is attached to the forward railing. Dual 30 A/125V receptacles for dock power cords are located for & aft & cable TV & telephone connections are located aft. there is a high density rub rail with a SS insert that provides hull protection when docking. There are SS cleats, 2 forward, 2 for midship spring lines & 4 at the stern. The 3 large forward windows have windshield wipers & FW washers & the center window can be opened for ventilation. Aft are cockpit drains, access hatches to the propeller shaft, battery charger, and aft bilge pump, generator, starting battery, steering gear, trim tab hydraulic pump & reservoir, water tanks, & a transom door that leads to a swim platform with a FW shower, dockside pressure hose hook up & FW faucet, retractable swim ladder, outboard motor mount and fender storage in transom lockers.
Access to the salon is via full length dual glass doors aft (one sliding), or through a starboard sliding pilot house door, both with screens. The stairwell, cockpit, & deck steps are illuminated for safety at night. The salon is spacious, finished in classic teak with carpeted floors & stairs. Three floor hatches provide access to the main engine & associated fuel tanks, macerator with overboard discharge, FW pumps, depth sounder, dual zone reverse cycle A?C pump, mid-and high water bilge pumps & alarm plus other mechanical & electrical components, including house starting batteries 7 & an oil change pump.
Cabin
The Cabin has abundant storage in overhead cabinets and under counters. The starboard L-shaped galley is up, with a nearly panoramic view of the surroundings via numerous large windows: some are sliding with screens plus Sumbrella wrap around linen window covers with a separate cover for center opening.
The galley in cludes a Nova-Kool refrigerator/freezer, an over-sized SS sink with pressurized hot and cold water, a 3-burner Princess electric stove with oven, a G.E. turntable microwave oven and an automatic coffee maker . There is ample dishware and utensil storage, and a spice rack. There is also a single drop-leaf, teak table and a convertible sleeper sofa. A starboard, second helm with full instrumentation is present together with a main AC/DC electrical panel, battery selector switch, circuit breakers, single zone reverse cycle A/C, CD/AM/FM radio, and TV with VHS tape player. A large storage compartment, holding tank, and window washer reservoir are located beneath the steering station. All counters throughout the yacht are of molded Corian.
Stairs lead down to the forward owners suite with a center-line queen size bed and abundant drawer storage, cedar-lined hanging lockers, and a single zone reverse-cycle A/C. A single screened overhead hatch provides ventilation. There is a second stateroom to port with ample storage, two large single berths, screened overhead hatch and a cabinet and under-berth storage. The hot water heater is located under the starboard single berth. There are privacy doors for both staterooms opening into the companionway.
To starboard is a single head with sink, pressurized hot and cold water, an electric marine toilet, a separate stall shower, cabinet storage, large mirror and a screened overhead hatch. The head is accessible from either the master stateroom by a separate privacy door or guest stateroom via the companionway. There are screened SS port lights in all forward compartments and interior canvas sun shades for all forward hatches. There is a floor hatch in the companionway for access to the shower sump. Access to the forward bilge pump is under the companionway stairs. There are DC reading lights in the staterooms and overhead AC/DC lighting throughout the cabin staterooms and head.
