This Leopard 38 features an owner dedicated starboard hull incorporating a very comfortable stateroom forward with a double berth, in suite head, separate study area and a large dedicated shower compartment aft. The port hull offer guests two private double cabins with a very large head and shower. The salon comfortably seats six adults and large windows provide a panoramic view while ceiling fans and forward portholes maximize ventilation. The 'galley-up' layout features Corian work surfaces, plentiful storage and a spacious fridge/freezer.  The cockpit allows direct access to the aft swim platform, great for snorkeling and diving. Wide hatches on the aft platform enable exterior access to the engines and a large technical room to starboard. Equipped with top-of-the-line electronics and updated high powered engines, this catamaran is a real pleasure to sail. 

Alcatraz is a very well maintained example of this popular cruising catamaran and displays many upgrades made by her knowledgeable owner. Upgrades include: 2007 solar panels added; 2008 NexGen 5.5kw generator added; 2010 both engines replaced w/ Yanmar 3JH5 diesels. New electronics: Raymarine Axiom 12 Multifunction Display with built-in 3D Sonar, EV-400 Type 2 Autopilot, I60 Wind direction and speed, I50 Tri-Data, Raymarine Ray60 VHF, Clarion M303 Stereo, battery charger; 2014 2 electric freshwater heads; 2015 New Bimini and windshield, 3 new Lewmar hatches, 6 new Lewmar opening ports, 2 new freshwater pressure pumps. 

During a narrow channel transit Alcatraz’s mast unfortunately struck a low-hanging power line in the spring of 2017 that caused a power spike in the electrical and electronic systems on the boat, and through an insurance claim the following systems/devices were fully replaced or added to the boat:
