Accommodations
The interior of a Caliber is very well appointed using quality marine grade materials like teak, holly, 316 stainless steel, and nice joinery. Her interior is also designed with offshore comfort in mind. As you walk throughout the cabin, sturdy handrails are strategically placed throughout the cabin and the Nav station, galley, and head are all adjacent to the companionway. The window ports all open with bug screens and are high-grade stainless steel. In total, there are 14 opening window ports and 7 overhead hatches that allows the cabin to stay cool and well lit. For added comfort, the cabin has a 16000 BTU air conditioner if needed while on the dock. Headroom in cabin is 6’ 4”

Hull/DeckAll features of the Caliber 40 are designed for maximum safety while offshore sailing. The Pharaohs Barge has a collision bulkhead forward that completely separates the forepeak from the rest of the cabin. In addition to 9,500lbs of ballast, all the boats tankage is low in the boat, which helps to lower its center of gravity. The hull is a solid fiberglass laminate and decks are cored. The caliber's hull/deck joint is named the Quad-Seal Deck to Hull System™, which bonds the deck with a combination of through-bolting, 3M 5200, copolymer tape and good placement of the rubrail and the aluminum toerail. The Integral Strength-Grid System ™ on board refers to the bonding of the fuel and water tanks to the structure of the hull which not only creates a double bottom effect, but also strengthens the boat and helps spread the loads evenly over the hull. The bottom paint was recently media blasted, barrier coated and painted
