AdditionalOriginally ordered "on spec" from Atlantic Boat by Dodson's Yacht Yard in Stonington, CT to finish as a day boat style downeast cruiser she was purchased by her owner in 2000' At that time final finish work was done, the generator, bow thruster, air cond equipment, Espar cabin heat and extensive Sounddown insulation were installed. A transom door and extended swim platform were added, spray rails (glued and mechanically fastened on), underdeck lockers in the cockpit added, cockpit teak hatches installed. The house had an extra set of windows installed and a hard enclosure with teak doors was done and the remaining windows were upgraded and changed out. To finish turning her into the exquisite yacht that she is her hull was Awlgripped Jade Green and a gold cove stripe and white/red/white boot top done.
MERRY WIDOW is certainly a proper yacht and comes highly recommended for those who want a vessel that turns heads wherever she goes.
