Accommodations & Layout
Forward is a centerline double berth with upholstered benches port and starboard. A huge overhead hatch allows great light into the forward cabin. Standing headroom throughout gives the impression of spaciousness unlike a true V-berth arrangement.
Next aft is a storage/workroom space with a long pilot berth to port. This area is sometimes converted to a workbench. Underneath the long pilot berth are large storage shelves. Additional deep storage is to starboard. The forward head with a VacuFlush fresh-water head and shower can be accessed from this area or the salon.
Amidships is the salon with an L-shaped settee to starboard and a straight settee to port. By lowering the dining table, the starboard settee converts to a large double berth. Up one step is the pilot house with an in-line galley to port and the navigation station to starboard. Forward facing windows along with large side windows allow excellent light and forward facing visibility from the navigation station. Just aft of the navigation station is the aft head with a manual Jabsco Par head and shower (pump removed). Two doors allow access to the head from either the pilot house or the aft cabin.
The master cabin is down one step and aft of the pilot house. The king berth is to port with a long upholstered bench seat to starboard. This bench could be used as another pilot berth. Opening ports contribute to light and ventilation.
Several 12v fans are strategically positioned throughout the boat. Numerous opening ports and hatches plus four additional hatches added at the time of construction insure excellent light and ventilation.
