Accommodations
Chain locker and forepeak storage area are forward followed by an enclosed forward cabin area with a centerline covered head, a hanging locker and shelves to starboard and a unique pull-out wash basin along with storage lockers and drawers to port. Next aft is the salon with a centerline fold-out dinette; a cozy Force 10 cabin heater, settee/berth and bookshelves to starboard; a settee/berth and pilot berth to port. There is ample storage below and outboard of the settee/berths and the pilot berth is really incredible as it slides out to form a double berth that is quite comfortable for two.
Next aft to starboard is the chart table with refrigerator under. There is a unique Lye Hess fold-out counter that extends across to the sink on the port side forming a secure U-shaped functional galley with an incredible amount of counter space. The three-burner stove with oven is to port of the companionway while to starboard there is a wet locker and a perfect sea berth/quarter/berth.
12-volt lighting throughout plus three Sorensen kerosene lanterns. The interior including the cabin sole is beautifully finished in hand-rubbed teak and she is kept light and airy with bronze opening ports, butterfly hatch and sliding hatches in both the forward cabin and salon.

Salesperson's RemarksLyle Hess designed boats to withstand the rigors of bluewater cruising, and Sam Morse built them to age gracefully and to meet all of the demands that many years and thousands of miles of passagemaking can present. Everything about the Bristol Channel Cutter exudes quality and seaworthiness. She is stout hearted and performs admirably in both light and heavy airs.
This particular vessel provides an opportunity for a discriminating buyer to purchase a well-maintained, lightly-used, one-owner vessel that is now reluctantly for sale by the 87-year-old owners. Gypsy Queen was the last BCC to be built by the Sam L. Morse factory while Sam himself was still in charge and when quality and pride of craftsmanship were at the highest level. The owners watched their vessel being built as Sam affectionately referred to her as ‘The Queen’, and she has continued to enjoy that same kind of affection and care throughout her life.
This vessel is a must-see for those who know that the Bristol Channel Cutter is built to go anywhere in the world, and this one is special as she is very clean and ready to take you to the destinations of your dreams.
