Accommodations
Beautifully finished in varnished cherry with varnished teak and holly sole. Natural light and ventillation abounds with 4 large fixed ports, ten stainless opening ports with screens and four large stainless hatches with screens. Artificial light is ample with polished brass swivel type reading lamps at all settees and berths and several dome lamps. Espar diesel cabin heater provides season extending warmth.
Starting forward is a forward Stateroom with large v-berth with filler above which the hull is lined with cherry ceilings. Under deck lockers provide extra stowage while below the berth is a dressing seat. There is some bin type stowage under the berths and excellent stowage in a locker with shelves and a hanging locker aft of the starboard berth. There is private access to the forward head from the stateroom as well as from the main salon. The forward head features and electric W.C., corian vanity with corian sink with H&C pressure water, good stowage in three lockers and one drawer, and ensuite shower.
The Main Salon is next aft with L settee to port (makes out to a double berth) and straight settee to starboard above and outboard there are lockers with louvered doors and shelves on either side of open book shelves with fiddles P&S and forward of the starboard settee is a hanging locker (the after locker of the port side is insulated and fitted with holding plate refrigeration). There is also storage in lockers behind the seat backs. On centerline is a cherry drop leaf table with 2 silverware drawers and a silverware stowage tray.
Next aft to port is the forward facing Nav. Station with Navigator's bench seat. The nav. station includes storage drawers a flip top chart table, book shelf and another storage locker outboard for vessel manuals etc. Opposite the nav station is the yacht's electrical distribution panels and aft of the nav. seat is a hanging locker. There is bin type stowage under the nav. seat.
Opposite the Nav. Center is the U-shaped Galley featuring ample Corian counters and ample storage space in lockers, 4 storage drawers, double basin stainless sink with H&C pressure water, fresh water foot pumps and salt water foot pump, Force 10 gimballed propane 3 burner stove with oven, Sharp microwave oven, coffee maker. Refrigeration is Seafrost holding plate with top loading refrigeration box and freezer compartment. For longer cruises there is the second freezer compartment previously mentioned on the port side.
Continuing aft, the Master Stateroom is especially generous for a yacht of this type and provides an exceptional amount of storage. Entering from the Nav Station there is immediately to port a large lined hanging locker, next aft is a bureau with 2 drawers under and a locker behind, continuing aft is another locker with shelves under which there is a drop face locker and finally a third locker with shelves all the way aft. This detailed joiner work and excellent storage is mirrored on the starboard side. On centerline is the ample island queen berth forward and to starboard is the Master Head with electric W.C., Corian vanity with corian sink and H&C pressure water, good stowage in 3 lockers and drawers and a separate stall shower.
