Accommodations
Sleeps up to 6 is a full oiled cherry interior with a teak and holly sole. (Please note, head layout differs from layout drawing).
Starting forward is the Forward Stateroom. There is access to the chain locker in the fwd bulkhead then V-berths with a filler. There are fir ceilings over the v-berths with deep shelves at the aft end of which is a small locker. Below the v-berth is bin type stowage, a small dressing seat with stowage under, 2 drawers and 2 other stowage lockers. There is also 1 large hanging locker which is aft to starboard with small stowage bins above.
Next aft to port is the head (note head layout differs from the drawing) The manual W.C. is in the fwd stall shower compartment area with stowage lockers above while a large vanity and stowage lockers are in the after section. There is pressure H&C fresh water.
Next aft is the main salon featuring a straight settee to starboard and an L-Settee to port. There are water tanks and bin type stowage under the berths, substantial stowage lockers behind the seat backs and storage lockers and shelves above the seat backs. A drop leaf table folds down from the fwd bulkhead.
Next aft is the galley to port (see galley) opposite which is the Navigation Station and quarter berth. There is bin stowage under the quater berth and fir ceilings and shelving unit over. The foot of the quaterberth serves as the seat for the fwd facing nav. station and there is a back rest that slides into position to make this seating comfortable. The Nav. Station is ample with flip up chart stowage, navigational electronics, vessels electrical distribution panels and a set of drawers. Roomy storage spaces just forward of the Nav. Station.

GalleyThe U-shaped galley is to port and has excellent counter and stowage space. There are double stainless steel sinks with H&C pressure water, manual fresh and manual salt water pumps. There is a 4 burner GSI Propane gimballed stove with oven. Large, well insulated freezer/reefer box with Seafrost holding plate refrigeration. The compressor was replaced in 2000'. Stowage includes several bins, drawers and lockers and a large bin just fwd of the stove for pots and pans. There are propane tanks and adapters for both US and European areas.
Sail & RiggingTapered keel stepped aluminum spar. Navtech rod rigging and some 1X19 stainless steel wire rigging.

MechanicalVolvo Penta 2003T 3 cylinder 43 hp diesel. Engine was rebuilt in 99', new engine instrumentation spring of 2001' shows 646 hrs. The Seller reports that somewhat less than an additional 600 hours were put on the engine before the old panel failed. V drive type transmission rebuilt 2000'. PYI dripless shaft seal. 3 blade Max Prop and spare 3 blade Maxprop.
Hull & DeckMoulded one piece hull and deck with partial closed cell airex foam core. Substantial raised non-skid deck. Hull is currently alwgripped a powder blue with plans to re-awlgrip. Deep offshore comfortable cockpit.

Additional"FROLIC" is an extensively equipped for offshore passage making and has recently completed a 4 year circumnavigation. The Seller has had a recent survey and has rectified any substantive defeciencies (a copy can be made available at time of offer). Currently he is having exterior canvas replaced and some interior cosmetic work done and plans to have the hull re-awlgripped. Re-awlgripping the hull is not figured in the asking price.
The Valiant 37s are highly regarded offshore capable vessels and have also done well under PHRF racing.
