Sleeps up to 4 in a simple interior with V-berth and 2 settee berths with sitting headroom of 4'-2".

Deck stepped blue anodized single spreader aluminum mast and boom with navtech 1X19 stainless steel wire rigging.  All sails are by Maine Sailing Partners (MSP), for those not familiar with the company the principal was involved with 2 America's Cup campaigns as a sail development specialist. (he is also the former owner of this Hobie 33)  All sails were built since 2008 except as noted.  The boat was not launched in 2014 and sailed just 9 times in 2013.

The current owner has mostly club raced the boat 10-12 times per year and done 3 weekend regattas each year since purchasing in 2008 along with a few day sails.  Given no use in 2014 and virtually no use in 2013 the sail inventory is fresher than the build dates.

Fiberglass foam cored hull with original off white gel coat in good condition with blue boot top and blue cove stripe.  The bottom is finished in Baltoplate and has been wet sanded with app 600fine.  Foam cored fiberglass deck with non-skid.  Large cockpit makes day sailing and racing a joy, well laid out ergonomically.  The rudder and keel were professionaly faired to templates bottom stripped and then sprayed with multiple coats of Baltoplate in 2008 or perhaps a year prior.

The first ten years of this Hobie 33's life was spent in fresh water.

The Hobie 33 has proven to be a difficult boat to beat in PHRF while being very easy to sail with her 7/8 rig, large main and moderate fore triangle.  This particular example is the fixed keel model and comes with a custom Zieman trailer.  With the first ten years of her life in fresh water and short seasonal use in Maine from '96 on (save the prior owner taking her to Key West a couple of times) she shows less wear than most racing/day sailors of this age. 

Her reasonably recent sail inventory, TackTick electronics and engine are additional nice pluses that make her stand out against sister ships that are on the market.
