AccommodationsThe center cockpit accommodation plan is the best all around for extended live-a-board cruising because it provides the needed interior space for a real bed, a real shower and ample room for needed mechanical devices. The Endeavour 42 accomplishes this task very well.
The aft stateroom features a centerline queen bed with custom mattress and with exceptional hanging locker, drawer and locker space. There is a fully enclosed head compartment with shower stall, which is only accessible from the aft stateroom.
The forward stateroom has a very large and comfortable V style berth with a large hanging locker and other drawers and lockers. Aft of the forward stateroom and to port is a large fully enclosed head compartment with double access from both the forward stateroom and the main salon. Opposite the head is another large hanging locker.
The main salon has a centerline mounted, double leaf dinette table. There port and starboard settee's that both convert to double berths. Ample storage is provided in lockers and shelves outboard of the settees. Aft of the starboard is a very comfortable and functional navigation station with ample room for a wide array of navigation and communication equipment as well as storage for charts, books and navigation tools.
Opposite is the galley area with double sinks and the stove and referring/freezer and storage along the outboard side of the walk through (6'-3" headroom) to the aft stateroom. Full engine & mechanical access is available from the walk through and from the aft stateroom.
The entire interior is finished in a traditional, satin varnished teak with a varnished teak and holly sole, which provides a rich and warm environment. Light and ventilation is provided by 12 opening ports w/screens, 5 opening deck hatches & 6 fixed port lights.
