Accommodations
The most noticable feature of this boat going below decks is the warmth of the wood finishes. Handsomely varnished hand-rubbed mahogany for all the bulkheads and cabinetry is unmatched in production yachts today. The cabin sole is hand-laid teak with a holly inlay. Starting forward is the large V berth with ensuite dressing area containing a hanging locker and bureau with additional storage shelves behind sliding caned wicker doors. A separate entrance into the portside head directly from the V berth allows for additional privacy of this roomy stateroom. Two opening ports plus a deck hatch provide ample ventilation in this compartment. The head, also accessible from the main salon, has ten drawers for storage and two shelf compartments for linens. The head floor is molded fiberglass with a teak grate which makes for an excellent shower and simplifies cleaning. The hot and cold pressure water system serves both the wash basin and shower. The main salon to starboard has another hanging locker abutting the single settee with storage compartments and a bookshelf behind. To port is another settee that expands to a comfortable double berth, with similar storage behind. A mahogany drop leaf table folds away to the bulkhead. Directly aft is the nav station and quarter berth to port, and U shaped galley to starboard.
Galley
The U-shaped Galley to starboard is updated from earlier model years, and includes a double stainless steel sink forward with pressurized hot and cold water augmented by an accumulator pressure tank, three-burner propane stove, and ice box aft. Side compartments behind hold dishes and stores.

A classic Ted Hood design, this is one of the last Bristol 40's made...hull number 143 out of 150 (+/-). Her beautiful mahogany interior and classic lines make her a joy to behold. The hull was awlgripped flag blue in 1987 and still looks great. But for her first year, this is a one-owner boat.
