Vessel Walkthrough
Starting forward is the guest stateroom with a large starboard side berth. One of the two reverse cycle heat and A/C air movement systems is located beneath the foot of the berth along with a fan speed control. A large hanging locker is located on the port side and a six drawer storage unit is located beneath the berth. Natural light and ventilation is provided by a large overhead opening hatch.
Adjacent to the stateroom on the starboard side is the over-sized guest head and very large shower compartment with a Vacu-flush toilet.
Across from the guest head is the galley down on the port side which has a GE microwave above a Princess electric stove/oven, stainless steel sink with separate drinking water dispenser and a full sized upright Norcold refrigerator with top freezer (new, summer â03). There is access provided to the engine room underneath the three steps that lead up to the main salon from the galley as well as through the salon floor beneath the high/low parquet cocktail table.
Proceeding aft into the salon on the starboard side is the lower helm which is adjacent to one of two access doors in the salon leading outside. The lower helm has instrumentation for the Westerbeke generator, tank tender monitoring system, NTI battery status, windlass control and AM/FM cassette player. Helm electronics include a Standard Horizon Eclipse VHF radio and Navico auto pilot. The main salon is separated from the galley by a large counter to the port side of the stairway leading to the galley down. Large windows throughout the salon as well as two access doors make the whole area bright and airy. The main salon contains an L-shaped settee and the larger part of the settee is a convertible sofa. The salon heat/AC systemâs digital controls and fan vent are located beneath the port side sliding window (the digital control for the ownerâs stateroom and guest stateroom heat/AC system is located in the ownerâs stateroom port side aft bulkhead with the fan vent for the ownerâs stateroom located there also).
The engine room configuration provides good centerline access to both Detroit 8.2 Diesel turbo charged engines, the 7.7kw Westerbeke generator, water heater, Vacu-flush system and Sensory battery charger (new summer â03). Two 100 gallon fuel tanks are located outboard of each engine and one 150 gallon fuel tank is located along the hull centerline.
Moving aft into the ownerâs stateroom, on the port side is a utility cabinet, down four steps on the port side is a hanging locker, and across from the hanging locker is the shipâs main AC/DC control panel with additional cabinet stowage under. There are full length mirrors on both sides of the queen sized berth. Above the steps is a large window providing good rear visibility while underway. The stateroom contains another ¾ height closet, a vanity/desk with swing-away seat and numerous cabinets throughout. An L-shaped counter has six drawers underneath providing additional storage. There is a large opening overhead hatch and numerous opening ports on three sides of the stateroom. The ensuite head is very spacious in earth tones with teak trim, a Vacu-flush toilet, bath tub with shower, dedicated opening port, medicine cabinet and vanity with stowage below.
The wide side decks make it easy and safe to move around while underway. The cabin top provides plenty of room for stowage as well as additional seating or dinghy stowage.
Two steps up to the bridge, there is a bench seat on the starboard side and an L-shaped seat on the port and aft section of the bridge and a full bridge enclosure. Sight lines are very good from the helm seat. The bridge electronics include a standard instrument gauge package for both engines, and there is a Garmin 128 GPS, Ritchie binnacle compass, depth and speed logs, auto pilot, Standard Horizon Eclipse VHF, Navico auto pilot, remote windlass controls, and Bennett trim tab controls. There is also a Northstar 800 loran and Raytheon 1603 radar repeater on board that have not been used by the current owners.
The fore deck has a Good windlass with Danforth anchor and rope chain rode. There are two additional Danforth anchors with rope rodes aft, and heavy duty stainless steel rails surround this very seaworthy trawler.
