Accommodations
Typical of the Grand Banks 36, WREN has a full varnished teak interior with a parquet style varnished teak sole. The GB 36 features abundant light and ventilation with several opening ports, hatches, and windows, all with screens. Good artifical light with reading lamps at each berth and settee and overhead lights in the salon.
Starting forward is the Guest Stateroom featuring V-berth with filler, below which there is storage in 4 drawers and 2 drop face lockers. Above the berth the hull is lined with varnished teak hull ceilings. A large hanging locker is aft of the port berth while the head is opposite to starboard. The head features a Sealand Vacuflush W.C.; formica topped vanity with porcelin sink and H&C pressure water with "telephone" style shower head and "ensuite shower" and good storage in 3 lockers and one drawer.
Up three steps to the Galley & Main Salon and Lower Helm Station. The straight Galley is to port and features a single basin stainless sink with H&C pressure water with recent fiixtures, 3 burner Princess Propane stove with oven and refrigeration box fitted with Norcold 12 volt refrigeration and freezer compartment and good stowage in 4 drawers and 4 lockers plus a divided dish locker.
Just aft of the galley is the port side door and then a bench seat with stowage under; there is a settee insert at the door that will allow the creation of a short 5-'5" berth if one wishes. Opposite is a generous L-settee with drop face lockers below. A custom built solid teak drop leaf dining table provides ample space for 4-6 for dining and a dry locker just fwd of the L-settee provides good stowage for glasses etc. The starboard side door and lower helm station are forward of the dry bar.
Down three steps to the Master Stateroom which features the "A" layout with double berth to starboard and single berth to port. There are six large storage drawers below the berths and above these berths the hull is lined with teak ceilings. On C/L there is a small bureau with several drawers and forward of the port berth is a very large hanging locker. Opposite to stbd is the Master Head which features an Sealand electric W.C., Formica vanity with porcelin sink & H&C pressure water, ensuite shower and good storage.

ElectricalWired for both 12 volt DC service and 110 volt AC service. A Mase 4kw generator showing 384 hours was installed in off season fo '08/'09. This generator is a year or two older having been installed in a larger sailboat where it was sitting largely unused.

Hull & DeckSolid fiberglass hull with molded in plank lines, white gelcoat nicely waxed and in excellent condition with blue Awlgripped boot top and red bottom.
Fiberglass house and decks with a teak overlay on the decks. The teak is in exc. condition as are all of the fiberglass surfaces, again all of the gelcoat is in exc. condition and kept nicely waxed. Wide side decks lead fore and aft with teak cap and safety rails on stainless stanchions. All other hardware including cleats, chocks, and 1/2 round caps etc. are bronze as with the exceptions of all of the grab rails which are stainless in lieu of teak which was the standard at the time. Large lazarettes aft provide ample storage of all loose gear.
Two steps up from the main deck to a landing atop the aft house top and then three steps up to the flying bridge which features the standard Grand Banks layout with thwartship running F&A bench seats to port and starboard with storage under. Additional storage may be found under the bridge deck and there is a folding table and deck chairs that may be set up aft. All of the exterior trim, safety and cap rails is varnished teak and is in exc. condition.

AdditionalWREN has had very, very good care, and periodic upgrading including the recently installed 4kw Mase generator. With her economical single screw set up, she will be a sensible boat to own for those lucky enough to get her and comes with all the accoutrements necessary to immediately move onboard and go cruising. Her onboard inventory includes all galleyware and linens, a full "spares" inventory, complete onboard tools and extensive inventory from full cushion to spare lines, custom screens and flybridge canvas covers.
If desired, under separate agreement, a profitable charter business may also be acquired.
