Accommodations
Sabre Yachts is deservedly highly touted for attention to detail and quality joiner work, and this Sabre 426 is no exception. She has accommodations for up to seven in a two stateroom layout with a full varnished cherry interior with a varnished teak and holly sole throughout. Headroom is 6'6" in the salon and aft cabin and 6'4" plus in the fwd cabin. Natural light and ventilation are extensive with ten polished stainless opening ports, 4 large fixed ports and 7 Lewmar opening hatches with Ocean Air blinds and screens and 2 Dorades.  All opening ports are fitted with screens. Artificial lighting is equally well thought out with swivel style "Martini" reading lamps at all berths and settees as well as several overhead lamps in working spaces.
When natural ventilation is insufficient the yacht is fitted with a Marine Air 16,000 BTU reverse cycle (heats and cools) air conditioning system. (This system does require that the yacht be plugged in dockside)
Starting forward is the spacious Forward Cabin featuring a 6'10" V-berth with storage below in drawers and some bin type storage under the foot of the berth. Above the berth the hull is lined with varnished ash ceilings. Aft and to starboard is a short bench seat with storage under and shelves behind while opposite is a bureau with a locker outboard and three large drawers adjacent to which is private access to the head.
Continuing aft to port is the Enclosed Head with separate stall shower area, Jabsco "quiet flush" WC , vanity with polished stainless sink and H&C pressure water, and good storage in several lockers and drawers. Opposite to starboard is a large hanging locker and then next aft a bureau with drawers with a locker outboard.
The spacious Main Salon is next aft featuring an L-shaped settee to port which may be made out into a double berth and a equally generous L-shaped settee to starboard. Tankage, systems and some storage is below the settees and in "cubbies" behind the seat backs and in lockers and shelves above. Dining is from an expansive varnished cherry table with a leaf that folds out to service both the P&S settees and folds up against the forward bulkhead when not in use. Behind the stored position of the table is a magazine/book rack.
Aft and to port is the Nav. Station featuring a forward facing chart table the top of which flips up to access Laptop storage, a set of storage drawers. The yacht's electrical distribution panels and some of the electronics. Just aft of the Nav. Station is the door to the private Aft Cabin which features a true queen sized 6'10" quarter berth that has some bin type storage under. Above the berth the hull is lined with varnished ash ceilings and there is a full length under deck locker. Additional storage is in lockers and drawers at the forward end of the cabin. After using this Sabre 426 for two seasons and in preparation for cruising further afield, the owner removed the rarely used aft cabin sink and had his yard build in additional storage in its place.
Opposite the aft cabin and nav. area is the seakindly and expansive U-shaped Galley featuring Corian counter tops, double basin polished Scanvik stainless steel sink with H&C pressure water, . Chilled food stuffs are easily handled in the large well insulated "ice box" fitted with 12 Volt Seafrost evaporator plate refrigeration new in 2018. There is excellent storage in several lockers and drawers. A third chilled space where there is alternative top load storage is forward and outboard in the galley and houses an Isotherm drink cooler. If one wished to have more dry storage this is easily convertible to the original configuration. Cooking is managed on the 3 burner gimballed Force 10 propane stove with oven while a microwave handles re-heats.
